Hillsdale Elevator Destroyed By Fire In Hillsdale
A co operative wheat elevator at Hillsdale built four years ago for about 44000 was totally destroyed by a Wednesday fire. About 96000 bushels of wheat were lost, with only 5000 dollars of insurance on the grain. Firefighters fought the blaze with bucket brigades as they salvaged some wheat for hog feed. The elevator held roughly 10000 bushels.

Ford rolls down hill near Cheyenne eight injured
A Kaufman Colorado car with seven passengers overturned twice at the foot of a hill seven miles east of Cheyenne on the Lincoln highway. Driver Frank Forbes and two others were seriously bruised. Accident on Lincoln Highway East of Cheyenne Claims Victims
Dr Seymour Smith, chief surgeon of the Union Pacific, arrived at the Lincoln Highway crash scene shortly after the wreck seven miles east of Cheyenne.
