He claimed master plumbers stone cutters and steam heating and ventilating contractors form a code and use a central clearing house for bids as part of an unlawful scheme. John P Hettrick faced cross examination over the alleged code and bid notification practices.
Diagnosis of stomach contents from three patients who died in an Oakland hospital shows botulism poisoning. Professors from Blandford University and the University of California confirm the find and note the food source likely arrived at the hospital several days ago with little chance of identifying it.
