Plot to Kill Dr Cook in India Bared

Osborne of Rawlins Wyoming was named chairman with R H Elder of Coeur d Alene Idaho as vice chairman and John T Barnett of Denver as secretary at the first conference of the Democratic national regional sub committee for Zone 7 covering six Rocky Mountain states. The Denver meeting also discussed Americanism as a campaign slogan and the need for patriotism in electing leaders. Mrs Jamieson and W R Hollister arrived to organize the zone committee.

Boiler explosion destroys UP locomotive near Laramie

Three men died when Union Pacific locomotive 2205 exploded on a curve at Allen, sixty-one miles west of Laramie. Engineer Edward H. Cummings, fireman David C. Kendall, and brakeman Alfred E.
