Criminal arraignment of a jailed man for theft

A negro charged with grand larceny appeared before Judge Matson in district court. He pleaded guilty and offered a mule pigs and chickens as payment for a lawyer. He admitted stealing a mule two pigs and several chickens before sentencing of other prisoners yesterday.

The Irwin Brothers Frontier and Wild West show toured Des Moines Lincoln Hutchinson Topeka and Omaha with strong cash results and widespread press. Charles Irwin led the company from Cheyenne and organized stock and horses while daughters Joella and Frances drew Eastern crowds. The Indiana contingent of about sixty Indians also joined before returning to a South Dakota reservation.

Death by blood poisoning from pimple pricked with needle

Alisa Bertha Hoffman, 21, of Cheyenne, died at 6 30 last night after pricking a facial pimple with a needle. Doctors Shingle and Kenneberry could not halt the spread of poison through her system. She was born and raised in Cheyenne and studied music in St Louis. Funeral arrangements to follow.
