Ranch dispute ends in fatal Wyoming shooting
Alonzo W. Cotton was killed by neighbor George Harris in a dispute over a fence line near the Wyoming Montana border. Mrs. Cotton, who witnessed the event, asserts Harris murdered Cotton after an armed confrontation in the yard. Harris says Cotton fired first four times, then he shot once. Harris gave himself up at a saloon.
