Government forces under Diaz clash with rival Slavic troops in Pueblo as heavy fighting continues. reports indicate victors and continued military activity in the area.
Reports from Pueblo describe a clash between anti-Diaz factions and federal troops with many killed or wounded. Troops claimed victory as demonstrations continued amid nationwide accusations of conspiracies led by Francisco I. Madero. An estimated hundred dead in Puebla and widespread riots prompted police and rurales to intervene.
New York on November 18 reports State Senator Eugene M. Travis testified that a $100,000 bribe offer to vote against anti race track betting bills came from a man tied to former State Senator Frank J. Gardner. Gardner is under indictment for a similar bribe plot involving Otto G. Foelker. Subpoenas target James R. Keene and Harry Payne Whitney but service has failed so far.
Denver report recalls the fatal crash of Ralph Johnstone as Arch Hoxsey flies three times amid snowy peaks. He later achieves speed over 26 miles in a minute with climbs to 3 000 feet, and 8 700 feet above sea level, while Bud Mars readiness and Brookins plans loom for upcoming flights.
Laura Farnsworth Schenk, wife of millionaire John Bad, was indicted by a grand jury in Wheeling West Virginia on charges of arsenic poisoning. Schenk was hospitalized recovering from the effects of the poisoning and expressed no comment when told of the indictment.

In Los Angeles on November 18 Myrtle Gates 17 daughter of an Iowa capitalist is escorted to a convent in Europe after elopement plans with Harry Hudspeth 16 thwarted by the probation department. Hudspeth faces five years in a reformatory and once served as a caddy on a Washington golf course for Postmaster General Hitchcock.
In Muncie Indiana a 22 year old farmer Benjamin Smith signs a contéation describing loading his father into a buggy reviving him, beating him to silence, and nearly throwing the body into a well before the father groaned. Smith is charged with the murder after police found the father’s body near a well.
In Greeley Colorado on November 18 Dr Edward Basselle a Denver insanity expert testified by answering a hypothetical question about the Killing of Wild Horse Jerry. He said the slayer would be suffering from delusional insanity. The defense aims to show Rising acted under real or assumed reasons.
Theodore Roosevelt returned to the national capital to speak before the National Geographic Society on his African adventures. A large crowd gathered after a reception at the National Press Club, and he avoided political topics, aside from a quip about days and nights.
Fort Collins report from November 18 indicates construction on the Seattle to Gulf through line via Wellington, Colorado and Cheyenne may begin sooner than expected.
