Police raided the Household Workers Soldiers and Garment Workers club in Centralia Washington after a report of a protest against persecution. No arrests reported, but several men were taken to the police station for investigation and radical literature was found in the clubroom.
On Armistice Day in Centralia Washington three American Legion members were killed and several others wounded during a parade attack by members of the Industrial Workers of the World. In the melee one suspected IWW member was reportedly lynched amid a mob, while eight or more IWW suspects were jailed as guards protected them from the crowd.
The Sunday School convention in Cheyenne, Wyoming, opens today with a 1:40 report to arrange hosts and hostesses, a 3:00 denominational meeting, and a 6:00 Baptist ladies banquet.
