Democratic campaign in Laramie County gains strong showings at meetings across the county. A large automobile parade closes campaign week Monday night from 7 at 1913 Capitol Avenue. Citizens urged to join in tribute to President Wilson and the Democratic ticket.
The first democratic rally of the campaign will be held Monday night at the New Atlas theater. Jack Clark, the democratic nominee for Congress, and former Governor Joseph M. Carey will speak. The republican and democratic factions settled their theater dispute in the democrats' favor. Congressman Montell will speak in Cheyenne Monday night at another venue. Clark will urge Wyoming to back Wilson and elect a democratic U.S. senator and representative. Carey will argue for support of the democratic national ticket.
Wyo ming Tribune editor and author of a charge that Governor Kendrick bought state land in violation of the law refused to substantiate the claim in open debate at a Burns political meeting. L A Miller, state land inspector, challenged Deming in writing to debate the issue, but Deming avoided the debate and offered only a mild critical remark about the land purchase.

Buffalo herd at Thermopolis is strong. elk replaced in Wind River Canyon show good counts. Pheasants relocated to Wyoming thrive. Carload of mah next season planned. revenue shows 11,797.72 year surplus with receipts 37,444.79 and disbursements 25,707.07.
Washington dispatch reports the department of justice estimates 60,000 Negroes moved from the South to Ohio Indiana and other states to fraudulently register. Officials cite thousands of false names and registration padding as part of a broad fraud scheme.
Following the October 24 Union Pacific wreck that killed two Cheyenne railroad workers, North Platte Nebr officials are shaken up. Trainmaster J W Adams is relieved and chief dispatcher W Zentmeyer is demoted. G C Harless named trainmaster at North Platte, replacing Adams, and L aw Green River becomes chief dispatcher. Authorities deny other removals.
A telegram confirms a September gathering of J P Morgan Coleman DuPont and others to influence the 1916 Hughes campaign. The meeting at 511 Fifth Avenue is said to target ten leaders from major firms including Belknap and Rosenwald. Aftermath tied to Hughes alliance leadership and threats of industrial pressure.
New York reports a major campaign by American Jewry to raise at least 10 million dollars for relief of Jewish war sufferers in Europe and Asia Minor. The drive is described as the largest ever undertaken by the Jewish community.
James J. True reported a telegram from Will R. King head counsel for the United States Reclamation Service praising Governor Kendrick. King, in California on business, urged Kendrick’s election to the Senate noting his value to the reclamation program and Wyoming.
The Evening World reports a secret Wall Street fund of about 1.2 million dollars within two weeks to aid Hughes. Funds allegedly avoid federal campaign reporting, with lawyers and magnates steering independent expenditures. About 590,000 plans to be sent to the state, targeting railroad workers and labor voters ahead of the election.
Reports from Wyoming describe $25,000 and $15,000 funneled to support Clark and Mondell campaigns, with funds allegedly used for advertising and influence.
