Denver market reports a mixed day with about 6400 cattle receipts to date, demand fair and prices near week-ago levels. Beef cattle show steady to slightly higher prices, hogs ease, and sheep demand modest. Chicago and Omaha trades mirror regional trends with varying loads and prices across cattle hogs and sheep.
Furnished by Wyoming Fuel and Feed Company, the notice lists corn per cwt six and eighty three hundredths dollars, corn chop per cwt four dollars sixty cents, straw per ton ten dollars, and alfalfa hay per ton twenty four dollars. Also shows Nebraska MaF conisCoi nee 24.00 in unclear line.

Tax notice requests payment of poll tax for 1917 at the office of the county assessor in Laramie County Wyoming. It warns that nonpayment will be enforced by the county assessor as provided by law under Section 4 Chapter 33 Session Laws 1915. E. J. Smalley June 1 County Assessor.

City actions include sewer work bids and water main extension discussions plus a track use ok for the Cheyenne Motorcycle Club with bond and set dates.
A state survey and hearing will determine abandonment and reallocation of water rights on Horse Creek and its tributaries. The Board of Control will hold hearings at the Capitol in Cheyenne starting November 26, 1917, to establish assertions of abandonment and current rights.
