Pin Traced Through Mail Robbery Case Recovered

A silver pin, property of Mrs. Roy G. Cleveland, was stolen from registered mail en route from Madison Wisconsin to Pasadena California during a train robbery near Mattewan Kansas. Post office inspectors recovered the wrapping and traced the item to Chicago before sending it to Cheyenne via Pasadena, then back to Mrs. Cleveland in Cheyenne where she is visiting her mother. The case links a Madison purchase, a Pasadena mailing, a Mattewan hold up, and a Chicago recovery in a single thread.
