Taylor and Durbin, Cheyenne investors, consider forming a stock company to develop a tungsten vein on Taylors Grover ranch amid reports of high grade finds nearby. Breckenridge Mining Co of Colorado leases neighboring land for $75,000 to mine tungsten as prospectors converge on the area. George F. Duncan Dies at 27 in Omaha Hospital

George F. Duncan, 27, died this morning at 9 in St Johns hospital from pneumonia after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife and his father, who came from Omaha. The body will be shipped to Omaha by Vivid Early for burial, probably May.

Auto racer Limberg killed in Sheepshead Bay crash

In a 150 mile Metropolitan Trophy race at Sheepshead Bay Limberg and his mechanician Pallotti died when their car crashed into a guard rail at over 100 mph. Limberg’s wife in the grandstand witnessed the tragedy as Eddie Rickenbacker won the event in 3 hours 3 minutes 1 second with Jules Devigne and Ira Vail following.

John Morton dies at Douglas after apoplexy stroke

John Morton, 65, president of the First National Bank of Douglas and a prominent Wyoming businessman, died after an apoplexy stroke in Douglas. A self made sheepman, Morton had recently visited Cheyenne and Denver before his death, which occurred about 11 a m as he prepared to travel to Casper with his wife.
