In Johnstown Pa on May 10 federal authorities took over the Stineman Coal Company mine at South Fork the first government intervention in the industry. About 300 miners were on strike since Tuesday. The mine will operate at twenty one cars a day and workers are urged to return to work as a patriotic duty.
