Cyclone Levels Homes and Granary Near Windsor
A cyclone north of Windsor struck the Wells and Westfall farms near Timnath and Severance, ripping roofs from houses, lifting a granary full of grain, and demolishing a Ford. The Westfall home was flattened, debris stretched across the farm, and the uninsured family planned to rebuild. A cow, fences, and scattered barbed wire marked the damage path as witnesses followed the cyclone for miles.
