Death by Own Action and Murder Ends Family in Junta Colo

In Junta Colorado May Henry Englebrecht shot himself in the temple and died instantly. Earlier an assault involved Chas Mor MD and Mrs Bogelbrecht, wife of a neighbor, following family tensions. Angel Ot allegedly went to his home and fired as Morrison reportedly struck Englebrecht during the incident.

Hangman’s Noose Prize In Card Game

In Denver on March 25 a “seven-up” game with a hangman's noose prize began in the county jail between Michael H Murphy, murderer of his sweetheart, and Lewis Wechter, who killed four men in an attempted robbery. Wechter already faced a death sentence, Murphy had not yet been sentenced. The game was halted when Murphy had to appear in court, where he was sentenced to life imprisonment and the game was not finished.

Woman in Denver Attempted Kidnap by Chloroform, Suicide Note Found

Police report a Denver woman Grace Minnick, once from Cheyenne, attempted to seize her 2 year old child with chloroform near the Alameda avenue bridge. A note on the ground said the writer wished their identity unknown and to have their body cremated. Minnick had been in a custody dispute with humane officers planning court action.

Fatal fued ends in double murder in Kentucky

Luther Lowe and Robert Lester are dead and Henry Lester mortally wounded after a long standing feud between the Lowe and Lester families over a land deal in Tazewell County.
