Detroit March 4 Henry Potter editor of a Philadelphia publication claimed to Toronto police he was kidnapped by three men on the Henry Ford estate. Dearborn Chief Fred Faustmann today denied Potter ever entered the Ford estate.
Siou x Falls jurors acquitted Carl Digre after 44 hours of deliberation in the death of Martin Matheson last July. The verdict of not guilty was returned at 1 30 p m.
March 4 report says fellow jail inmates who warned Joseph Zemin he faced hanging for burglary caused his decline. Zemin, 18, was sane at arrest but driven mad by the threat, according to jail authorities and physicians.
