Percy W. Metz of Park County was named district judge for the Fifth judicial district by Governor Carey. Metz, 28, is Park County county and prosecuting attorney and a University of Nebraska law graduate. He will oversee Park, Washakie, Hot Springs and Big Horn counties and has practiced with his father, W. S. Metz, in Sheridan.
Woodrow Wilson born Staunton Virginia December 28 1856. He studied at Princeton UVA Johns Hopkins and the University of Virginia practiced law in Atlanta taught at Bryn Mawr Wesleyan and Princeton. He married Ellen Louise Axson in Savannah June 24 1885 and became governor of New Jersey in 1910 and US president in 1912. He wrote Congressional Government The State and other political works and belonged to major scholarly associations.
