Jo-San known as the death by own action Lady of Kobe runs a hilltop refuge for distressed women from geisha to wives and daughters. After sixteen years as a Bible woman, she now guides despairing souls away from suicide offering shelter and gospel to 160 women who sought her aid. The Kobe effort seeks $2,000 for a new house as her fame grows across Japan.
