Distribution of Liberty Loan Funds In New York
New York June 26. The federal reserve bank here received directions from Secretary of the Treasury McAdoo to distribute between eighty and one hundred million dollars of government money on deposit largely from Liberty Loan subscriptions among district banks. Similar action was expected in other federal reserve districts as a local bank forwarded a letter approving depositories to place funds to the credit of the United States treasurer. F S King Ranch House Destroyed by Lightning Fire
A new $10,000 residence on F S King’s ranch six miles west of Cheyenne was destroyed by fire likely from a lightning strike. The garage was struck and the blaze spread to the house, leaving it a total loss. Carpenters were finishing work and would have completed in about two days.
