Ulrich Alden, 65, died after being crushed between two rail cars in Union Pacific yards. Investigating coroner's jury charged fellow workers Jopifery Graham and Carl Schmidt with culpable negligence for jacking the Chicago & Northwestern car which slipped and trapped Ulrich. Rescue teams freed him as doctors attended. he died at the scene.
Coroner Karly summoned after an inquest into the accident that killed a man en route to the hospital. The jury found Virich met his death from an accident due to negligence by Carl Schmidt and Jepbery Grw while working on the air wheels on the park, with funeral arrangements yet to be announced.
