Progressive Luncheon Draws Fort Russell Ladies In Pink And White
A series of progressive luncheons hosted by Mrs. A. D. Johnston and Miss Au gusta Johnston entertained about forty Fort Russell ladies with music by Mrs. Susan Cahill and Miss Marie Buchanan. The event featured round dining, pink and white decorations, monogram seating, and a later Kensington party hosted by Mrs. Billy Walker with fortune telling and a tea. A lawn party for children hosted by Mrs. LaFontaine used pink and white motifs, with games, raffles, and favors for girls and boys alike, celebrated by many local families through the week.
