Reports from Weimar indicate German leaders split over the peace treaty terms. Cabinet members fear bolshevism and chaos if they reject, while others favor signing. German papers warn of possible Allied invasion if talks fail. Foreign ministers discussed Poland Ukraine and Danzig occupation details.
Basle dispatch says the German peace delegation at Weimar advised the cabinet to accept the peace treaty but experts with the delegation believed it should be rejected.
The German cabinet discussed the allied peace terms but announced no decision. It awaits a South German premiers conference and will not reconvene until Thursday. Paris officials prepared the entente reply for distribution and Clemenceau sent an apology for the Versailles incident.
Colorado legislators, largely farmers, may delay an extra session to consider the suffrage amendment until crops are disposed of in late autumn. Lawmakers are being consulted before a date is set, with possible inclusion of pay for district house clerks and a blue sky law in the recommended legislation.

The House passed a bill to repeal daylight saving on the last Sunday in October by 233 to 122. The Senate followed with 56 to 6 in favor, attaching the repeal to the agricultural appropriation bill. The amendment sets daylight saving to end next October.

George Henderson, a negro politician, was found guilty in superior court of giving and offering to give a bribe to Mayor F. T. Woodman. The jury was out 16 hours. Henderson will be remanded Friday. Mayor Woodman was recently acquitted on a charge of having accepted the bribe in question.
Eyre Powell, press representative of the Union Pacific railroad, announces that Miss Wyoming will embody the ideal Western girl at the Frontier Days roundup. No contest will determine her selection. the chosen participant will be invited to pose where she is found.
In Mount Clemens on June i8 the Ford libel case against the Chicago Tribune heard evidence about Henry Ford's so called flag of humanity. An Ford illustrator testified the idea came from Ford officials and involved a water color design depicting universal brotherhood peace and industry.
A writer outlines a portrait of the ideal American girl for a Western feature. He describes traits that would show well on film, including height around five feet two to five feet six, a husky athletic figure, varied hair color, large dark eyes, and a frank open disposition. He notes such a figure could appear in Cheyenne or major cities like New York and Chicago.
A Senate public lands committee approved a bill by Senator Myers to let the interior secretary permit use of irrigation water for industrial or other nonagricultural needs when water supply is insufficient. In Francisco June 4 18 a coastwise walkout of electrical workers has triggered meetings of the International Association of Electrical Workers from major coast cities. Representatives plan to meet telephony company officials tomorrow to press demands for collective bargaining amid partial service disruptions.
Brigadier General J P O Neill arrives to assume command at Fort Russell today relieving Brigadier General Thomas Darrah who is due for Washington duty. Lieutenant Colonel Glass has led the post in Darrah’s absence and will continue to assist until O Neill’s formal takeover.
