A Burlington train wreck near New Castle on June 16 left W Webster of Roat with a torn nose, a broken shoulder, and serious injuries after being dragged between train sections. Several others suffered broken bones and injuries while riding the car between New Castle and Upton.

Cody June 16. Miner P. Peterson of Kirby mines was dragged by a Burlington train while trying to reboard after stopping to drink. His left foot was crushed off at the toes and he suffered a broken cheek bone while shouting to the engineer.
Bert Martin of Houghs Wyoming known as the tallest ecowpuncher at six feet seven inches is hospitalized in Douglas after his pony slipped into a hole and threw him. Doctors report injuries not serious. Martin recently recovered from a broken leg after an outlaw broncho threw and trampled him.
