Clyde Pearson faces trial in Fort Collins for the sheriff’s shooting death at the Alex Webster ranch. Prosecutor Sade Thompson travels from Fort Vollina to assist District Attorney Fleming as witnesses are summoned. Doctors Johnston and Beard who performed the autopsy will testify. Grey is believed to testify against Pearson. The second suspect Cornellua Key will be tried next with both cases prepared in Greeley and Fort Collins.
A large crowd gathered at the Masonic temple in Cheyenne for the third degree exemplification led by Master Dickinson of Lander. Delegations arrived from Pine Bluff, Chugwater, Layamwte Wyoming, and from Boulder and Fort Collins Colorado. Notables included Dr. W. K. Shoemaker of Laramie and Professor Banke of Manila, deputy grand master of the Philippines, who traveled from Boulder.
London June 10 A martial court tried Captain Bowen-Colthurst for shooting FF Sheehy Skeffington and two others during the rebellion in Ireland. The court found him guilty but insane at the time of the shooting. The report also notes a separate Chicago warehouse collapse with several deaths and missing persons.
Gavira is called to Mexico City for a high level war ministerial conference with General Ob rege and other military heads. The trip follows demonstrations in several states and heightened security concerns for workers and civilians.
