Emma Goldman and Alexander Berkman, noted anarchists, were found guilty of conspiracy to obstruct the selective draft law by a federal court jury. Judge Mayer imposed the maximum: two years in a federal penitentiary and a $10,000 fine on each defendant.
The city plans a cordial reception for the Belgian war mission visiting Cheyenne on July 18. Mayor LaFontaine sent telegrams to Hugh Gibson and Frank Polk to arrange a stopover and a troops review.
