Property Holder Blocks the U. P. Into Ft. Collins

In Port Colifion Colorado on July 1 John M Hoffman a Moffmen Milling owner built a five foot fence in the Union Pacific right of way along Riverside Avenue to mark a western boundary. The action halts grading for the proposed road into Fort Collins while county officials consider vacating a 30 foot strip. Hoffman, who claims ownership of the disputed land, says he was not informed of obstructing the road and questions why compensation should not be paid.

Officials announced for Cheyenne’s big nineteen day race meet as Frontier Park undergoes $20,000 in improvements.
