Washington January 18 Director General McAdoo announced a four man wage commission to study all wage and labor questions for the government railroad administration. He also set up three operating regions with executives in charge: east under A H Smith, west under R H Alshton, and southeast under MH Markham with Illinois joint jurisdiction including all roads entering Illinois from east and south.

Officers are expected to be reelected.
