Circa 11 am near Kimball Nebraska a freight train crew clashed with two tramps. Cicero Allen and Otto B Jones died, Albert Carroll was near death after Moran and others intervened, a coroner’s jury ruled Carroll feloniously shot the two men. The train bound for Cheyenne halted as Moran attacked Carroll, Moran then beat Carroll unconscious before authorities intervened.
