State Humane Agent Bright yesterday arrested Mrs. Harington of 1618 Bent street for immoral conduct and took custody of her three year old son. He was held at the time and transferred to a home until legal proceedings can determine permanent custody. The officer was aided by a city policeman. The mother was found with two men and suspected of entertaining men in the presence of the child. The case also prompts inquiry into several cruelty to animals reports. Police may pursue similar investigations into horses driven while unfit for harness. In New York, amidst gale and snow, steeplejacks worked 9300 feet on St Patrick Cathedral spires to string lights for Cardinal Farley.
A group of thirty three Harriman railroad agents touring the system arrived in Cheyenne after delays of nearly three hours.
