Denver live stock market on cattle hogs and sheep prices
At Denver yards January 14 cattle demand remained good despite rain. Beef steer prices ranged 6.50 to 7.65 with cows 5.00 to 6.00. hogs sold early 7.10 to 7.15 with later offerings unsettled. Sheep and lamb demand was strong with fat lambs at 8.00 and ewes around 4.50 as shipments continued.
