Aged Woman Injured in Street Fall in Cheyenne

Mrs. Anna M. Wolfer, 77, mother of H. H. Wolfer A F West and Veronica Wolfer, was seriously injured yesterday afternoon when she stumbled crossing Nineteenth and Evans streets. She fractured her hip and was taken to her apartment in the Cheyenne building, where Dr. Shingle attended her.

Seven Die As Curtain Touches Live Mine Wire

A fire at the Kathleen mine in Vowell near Paxton Illinois traps seven miners after a canvas curtain touches a live wire. Rescue trains cannot reach the blaze. The mine is owned by Union Colliery Company of St. Louis.

In Wisseteton on February 23 organized labor in the American Federation of Labor demanded Congress enact a law declaring labor organizations are not co partners and must be treated separately in law. Young Corbett Dies After Griffo Knockout in Pueblo

In Pueblo Colorado on February 23 a boxing match at the steel works club ended with bantam weight fighter John Wells known as Young Corbett fatally struck by a blow from Young Griffo real name Charles Blonda. Corbett died about thirty minutes after being removed from the ring from brain concussion and internal bleeding.
