Chilean cruiser rescues 88 from Lima wreck in Magellan Strait
The Chilean cruiser Ministre Zenteno Nas rescued eighty eight survivors left aboard the British steamer Lima in HuambilIn passage of the Strait of Magellan. Two others had already reached shore as the ship wrecked near San Pedro island. the Lima sailed from an Argentine port January 26 toward Chile and Peru. The Lima is a 401 foot Liverpool owned vessel of 3116 tons built in Glasgow in 1907.
