William Krosper living 15 miles north of Lenore in Fremont county Wyoming was exonerated by a coroner's jury after killing Heidsick a sheepherder. Heidsick reportedly came armed to settle a stock dispute. the rifle misfired but Krosper's shot hit Heidsick in the right side causing fatal bleeding. Heidsick's body was taken to Lander for relatives to be located.
