Wyoming rancher absolved in self defense killing

William Krosper living 15 miles north of Lenore in Fremont county Wyoming was exonerated by a coroner's jury after killing Heidsick a sheepherder. Heidsick reportedly came armed to settle a stock dispute. the rifle misfired but Krosper's shot hit Heidsick in the right side causing fatal bleeding. Heidsick's body was taken to Lander for relatives to be located.

Sheridan Wyoming February 10 market eggs flood the town as ranchers struggle to sell hens fruit. The Commercial club urged housewives to buy them. Wholesale price fell to 30 cents and retail to 35 cents the lowest since last summer.

The Midwest Refining company will concur with Standard Oil on a 10 percent wage reduction. Midwest operates refineries in Casper Greybull and Laramie and over 2000 workers will be affected across these plants.

Dollar Day Great Success for Cheyenne Merchants

Cheyenne merchants reported a large turnout and strong sales as Dollar Day boosted business. Stores advertised deep discounts with many items sold below cost, including Forbes Pharmacy two boxes for a dollar and hats at The French Shop. Several firms like Marchick & Sons and William Myers Dry Goods saw record or near record activity, with another Dollar Day expected soon.

News from New York reports Sinclair Company sells half of its Sinclair Pipe Line interests to Standard Oil of Indiana. Tornado Kills Whites and Blacks in Georgia Settlement

A tornado hit the Gardner settlement near Comee Georgia injuring many and killing two white residents and about 30 Black residents. The storm left a four mile long barren area with few standing structures and noted victims include a 14 year old Benjamin Orr and a 93 year old daughter of BH Minor.

Wyoming Senate approves new Sublette and Teton counties
