Westminster Guild Concert and social events in Cheyenne

The Westminster Guild of the Presbyterian church invites all friends to a concert at the church for the missionary fund with a fine program. Governor Carlson of Colorado will speak in Cheyenne on Thursday about Colorado's experience and prohibition. A reception for the Carlson party is planned at the executive mansion Friday evening.

Woman’s Clubs Chapter Hosts Afternoon Meeting

Woman’s clubs host a program at P. Ke. Mra W C Kinkead’s home this afternoon with readings from absent members and a parliamentary drill by Mrs G L Strider. The Alpha club meets at the library at 3 with an engaging program, followed by a regular Woman’s club session at the library Wednesday with business routing, new member balloting, music, and Mrs J H Walton’s paper In the Playhouses.

Whittier Club Plans Wednesday Meeting and Lectures

The Whittier club will meet Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Harry Durham as leader. Lesson titled The Coming of the Hebrew Nation from the book of Exodus. The Plains Dancing Club will enjoy the weekly session Wednesday night. Mystic Maze Club meets Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Bert Penman. Rebekah Lodge No. 25 hosts a social dance Thursday evening February 10 at J O O F hall with music by Messrs. Primeaux and Henderson.

Art association meeting at library postponed to Thursday

The Art association will meet at the library Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock after a postponement due to cold and storm. Miss Frances Daviu will read a paper on the lives of Hepplewhite and Sharaton. Mrs. John W. Lacey and Miss Anna Dobbin hostesses for the D A R meeting Saturday afternoon at Mrs. Lacey's home.

City Federation of Women's Clubs discusses Baby Welfare Week

The executive board met at the library with eleven members. Mrs. R A Morton presided as plans were laid for Baby Welfare Week in Cheyenne March 4 to 11. Mentzer outlined practical suggestions and urged committee appointments and intercity cooperation. The group also discussed the National Live stock convention, hospital aid efforts, and upcoming spring meeting open to all club women.
