In Marshall Texas a bitter feud against the Catholic church ends with ex-priest William Black killing John Rogers and another Catholic before dying in a hotel room duel. Cashier John Cope Lend is fatally wounded and witnesses include Black’s daughter and George Ryan.
General Villa today virtually proclaimed himself head of both political and military government and named a cabinet including Diaz Lombardo, de Lagarza Cardenas, and Fecurdero.
