New York December 29 A grand jury indicted Jos. Robin on larceny of $90 000 from Washington Savings Bank where he serves as president. The bank and Bank of Northern New York are tied to Robin s alleged speculation. He faces bail set at 25 000 while a commitment finding of insanity stands complicating the case.
Adjutant General F C Ainsworth says the War Department does not plan moving the Department of the Colorado headquarters from Denver to Cheyenne Wyoming. Officials in Denver regard the statement as dismissing weeks of rumors. Representative Taylor and former Senator Teller report no evidence of a contemplated relocation.
