Union Pacific announces a one month bonus for all employees earning $1800 or less per year since January 1 1916 as a Christmas gesture not a present. An insurance plan for workers under 4000 a year provides life, accident, and sickness coverage with varying weekly benefits and a possible total of 2600 life insurance, to take effect January 1 1917.
