Mrs Hanna Oberfelder 67 of Sidney Neb died in Denver yesterday from ureamic poisoning. Burial is in Denver today. She was the mother of Mrs Joseph Wasserman and was well known in Cheyenne with many friends.
New Haven reports Benny Leonard defending his lightweight title by stopping Chick Brown in the fifth round of a scheduled ten round bout. Leonard delivers a technical knockout to secure the win in New Haven on December 17.
Sen. Kendrick of Wyoming champions pioneer oil men and urges passage of the general leasing bill. He claims Congress should not legislate such men out of their equities. The afternoon was spent in debate with a vote expected tomorrow unless debate continues and action is postponed.
