Lost Aviators Rescued Near Mexican Border

Mexican cavalry under Captain Trujillo escorted two American aviators Lieutenants Frederick Waterhouse and Cecil H. Connelly to the border area after a five day search in Lower California. The pilots from Rockwell Field had gone missing near Ensenada about 200 miles southeast of San Diego and were located in mountainous terrain. They were to be brought to Ensenada or Mexicali for return to the United States, with further word expected tonight.

Stabbing Case Tied to Tower Man in Wyoming

M R Dagger of Tower Wyoming was bound over to the October term of the district court on a charge of cruelty to animals after a man reported stabbing and killing a hog with a pitchfork.
