Taft outlines fall trip spanning thirteen thousand miles

President Taft released a tentative itinerary for a major fall journey totaling about thirteen thousand miles. Feeding a dying infant in Pittsburgh police station

Francis Nowiczaka a Polish mother burst into the Central police station with her emaciated 9 month old baby begging officers to save the child. She said the infant had been fed coffee and bread for weeks and officers sent the child to hospital where doctors said starving to death. Recovery chances were said to be slim.
