Basin Ohio April 22 Joe Russell son of Mr and Mrs J J Russell of Spence died at Greybull after a cut during a Saturday afternoon fracas near a railroad gang work site. Drake fatally stabbed the youth three inch fang cut and Russell was cut in several places. His father came to help and was also wounded. Drake jailed.

Several mining camps burned and less than 200 militiamen and guards defend a striker force estimated at over 400. Colorado National Guard units ordered to entrain to Trinidad as the crisis deepens amid the southern Colorado labor war.
