Assailant Held After Guard Shot Near Crystal Lake

Two Wyoming National Guard members on duty at city properties rushed to Caretaker Eugene Clousem after a shooting at the Sok Dhem camp near Crystal Lake around 10 PM. Dr Gott attended the wounded guard, who is believed to have fallen victim to foul play. The assailant is in custody. names of those involved were not learned.

British War Council Envoys Reach Washington Port

The British commissioners to the international war council arrived in Washington today ahead of next week’s opening session. Lord Alfred Balfour leads the party with double bridge and tunnel protection and a five car special train guarded en route. State, War, and Navy reps aboard include Breckinridge Long, Lieut. Gen. Briggs, Maj. Gen. Leonard Wood, Read Admiral DeChair, and Rear Admiral Fletcher.

Eklund Defeats Thompson For Wyoming State Title

Sheridan April 21 Clarence Eklund defeated Walter Thompson to win the Wyoming heavyweight championship. He took the first fall in an hour and two minutes with a hammerlock and arm scissors, then the second fall in twenty minutes with a wrist lock and arm scissors.
