Stowaway Ernest Schiller Courted for Revenge in England

In Lewes Delaware March 10 1915 German stowaway Ernest Schiller who captured the British steamer Matoppo was captured and taken to Harrington for transport to Newark Detectives fear a rescue attempt. Schiller claims revenge against England for wartime detention and asserts he acted alone planning a privatering expedition bound for a British steamer and that other conspirators may be aboard the El Sparto with 2000 pounds in sterling and ammunition.

Five Hour Battle Leaves Dozens Dead and Wounded

A five hour battle ends with thirty one Mexicans killed and four Americans slightly wounded. Dentists connected to poison case include Dr Arthur War Grand Rapids and Mrs Peck involved in a York home incident. Arsente found in Mrs Peck's body.

Colonel Dodds Column Crushes Villa Followers at San Geronimo

Four hundred American cavalry under Col. George A. Dodd struck at dawn March 20 near Guerrero trapping Francisco Villa’s band near San Geronimo ranch. Villa wounded, band dispersed after a five hour fight. 31 Mexicans killed and four Americans slightly wounded. Villa’s lieutenants wounded. two machine guns and supplies captured. In Douglas, Ariz., Mar 31, Mexican troop movements toward the Arizona border raised regional unease as Carranza forces, recalled from Yaqui country, are said to number about 12,000 and to be protecting railroads.
