Bank Failure Trial Opens in Godding Case at Rocky Ford
In La Junta Colorado on September 7 a jury was seated after 125 talesmen were questioned for the trial of John B. Godding president of the Rocky Ford state bank. Godding and other officers face charges of accepting deposits while knowing the bank was insolvent. The prosecution promises sensational testimony at tomorrow’s hearing.
