Chief Engineer Huntley and his party travel from Denver to Omaha to inspect a new cut-off from Platteville Colorado to Laramie Wyoming. Work begins June 1 with grading to Fort Collins this year. The line will shorten routes to Ogden, boosting northern Colorado mining and coal lands.
