Plumber Killed by U P Overland Limited
Paul Lestus a Jacksonville Florida plumber was instantly killed by the Union Pacific Overland Limited eight miles east of Cheyenne early yesterday. Coroner Murray will hold an inquest. Lestus was traveling from San Francisco to New York with another man. They camped near Archer then attempted to board an east bound freight. Lestus stood on the west bound track and was struck by No 1 Overland Limited. His body was thrown about 100 feet and his bones broken. He was about 35 and a member of Jacksonville Eagles lodge.
