Washington, May 7. A mineral land bill was agreed upon at a Pacific coast delegation meeting, introduced in the house by Belford, and referred to the mines and mining committee. Prospects for final action this session are slim, but no other mining measure can pass if this is defeated, as it could endanger the entire public land commission program.
