Denver July 31 A large four horse coach carrying twenty people collided with a street car just after midnight. Mrs John Horton is injured internally and bugler McMillan suffers a crushed spine. Several others endure bruises while in hospital. none are listed as critically hurt.
Amsterdam reports Boer delegates aim to keep Steyn out of England by meeting the British ship carrying him with a Dutch steamer and transferring him offshore in the Channel.
