Washington wires report that Conaul Donaldson of Managua Paraguay says the president will commute Russell Wilsons death sentence as a courtesy to the United States and mother sympathy. Wilson, an American doctor allied with insurgents, was captured and saved by Senator Hanna’s intervention.

FORGER BREAKS JAIL IN VERIDAP COUNTY ESCAPE

William Hunter, who recently confessed to forging checks totaling thirty dollars and received a fifteen month sentence, escaped from the Veridap County Jail yesterday morning between seven and eight o'clock. He used a bucket beside the lock to fashion a jail key. Sheriff Neilson and deputies are searching the city and surrounding country with a $26 reward offered for his capture.

Pistol Accident Injures Grace Rooney on South Side

Nine year old Grace Rooney daughter of Mr and Mrs Rooney of 7 Lillian Terrace was injured yesterday at 1 30 pm when a 38 caliber revolver in neighbor Mrs Mosher s house fired in play. The ball damaged the index finger and a second finger may be lost. Dr Deamond amputated the index finger and a risk of lockjaw exists.
