Redistricting National Forests in Wyoming Updated Boundaries
The president signed orders changing Wyoming forest boundaries as part of a western plan to equalize administrative areas. Yellowstone Wind River division becomes Bonneville National Forest with 1 705 460 acres and Zeph Jones stays as supervisor at Pinedale. Teton division area 1 928 900 acres supervised by R. E. Miller at Jackson. southern Teton portion 1 200 400 acres becomes Wyoming National Forest under acting supervisor J Raphael at Afton. The aim is about 1 000 000 acres per unit with 144 supervisors overseeing 167 000 000 acres nationwide.
