Omaha reports a third arson attempt at the Cudahy mansion amid kidnappers threats. Mrs Cudahy overwhelmed by fear and guards kept children under close watch as authorities pursue leads. A ransom return offer was allegedly made but declined by Mr Cudahy who had paid 25 000 for the kidnappers conviction.
